Hi guys, a quick question:
Does anyone own a 1970/80’s Electro-Harmonix BASS OVERDRIVE? My friend had one years ago and I haven’t seen one since. It was black with yellow writing and it also had a UK power lead going directly in; no battery. Design seemed 70’s and it had a beautiful fuzz tone, the likes of which I have not heard since.
If anyone has seen one, or is SELLING ONE, please let me know!!
Thanks!
Ben
I suspect he actually had a Deluxe Octave Multiplexer. The 5 knob version was yellow/black with an AC cord. EH never marketed an actual bass overdrive.

Old EH catalogs also showed a 3 knob Deluxe Octave Multiplexer but I’ve never seen one.
Ah-ha, thank you very much! This pedal looks very similar to the one I played on. Was absolutely convinced it said ‘overdrive’ and have been chasing that pedal for years! Thanks for your help man… over to eBay i go
Good luck. Scarce as hen’s teeth and pricey.
