    There is an insert missing from my SMMH. It is the chrome insert that grounds the cable jack, looks like a nut and threads on to the jack itself. Is there someplace from which I can buy one? Thanks in advance.

    unfortunately im pretty sure you cant find the part your looking for without buying the whole jack.

    But it can be found, i get all my parts as well as equipment and other life necessities from Ebay.

    if you dont want to go with that listing, just search for “1/4 PCB jack” and look for the matching nut on the outside.
