Can I mod the Hazarai to get the tails after switching it off?
Is the cutting off related to the digital thing or to the true bypass?
If the second, is it easy to remove the true bypass on this pedal? Is it on the switch or in the all circuit?
If this sounds bad to you, which EHX delays have tail after being switched off?
Thanks a lot!November 7, 2011 at 3:19 pm #116293CryabetesParticipantthe true bypass. You could use an A-B switch to control whether signal gets sent to the SMMwH and then recombine the output of the SMMwH with the bypassed signal with a Y cable.

Is this just to check if the true pass is mixed up with the circuit or external/removable?

December 2, 2011 at 8:29 am #116438fuh577MemberI finally fixed my pedal chain with all the new pedals and I tried the Switch Blade before the Memory Man. I was very excited because this way I can save some space on the first line, using the Switch Blade as Delay Switch.
The thing is that when I change channel there’s still delay in the signal.
Something keeps going into the memory man, and you can hear the delay in the back, not if you keep playing loud, but if you stop you hear it.
I can still do what I wanted. Change channel, tails are on, keep playing new part with tails in the back.
So for now I just switch on the delay when I need it, switch it off with the Switch Blade when I’m done and then as soon as I have a second I switch off the Delay as well.
I have what I want.
But the Switch Blade shouldn’t work this way.

I won’t use anything out of EHX equipment.
The questions are:
1) Is my Switch Blade faulty?

If so, I’m also curious as to how it could be done. It’s a brilliant feature. Too bad EHX didn’t think of it when designing the SMMH

I forgot to tell you how it went.
With the Switch Blade I can do what I wanted.
The tails are there.
The problem is that when I cut out the Memory Man, leaving it ON but selecting the other channel, there’s still delay! In some way (and I’m too stupid to understand why) the delay keeps doing his job, at a very low volume, but still…
To solve this I can always switch it off right after I have changed the channel.
So I get the new riff with no delay, the tails of the old riff, and no delay. Changing channel and AFTER that switching off the Delay. A bit annoying but still ok.
The negative thing is that I can’t out the pedal in a corner of my pedal board and use just the switch blade, because I still have to switch it off…
that’s it.
