I have an ehx small clone, its great but I listened demos at youtube where there are samples of vintage small clone and sounds so great. Whats the differenece between reissue and vintage? Do I need to change a circuit or smthg like that to get that vintage sound?
Thanks.
Your RI Small Clone likely has the MN3007 chip where the vintage unit could have that or the SAD1024. That can make a difference.
I wouldn’t try to mod a RI for the SAD chip.
But you wouldnt recommend me to mod to sad chip? Would my small clone get spoiled?
Possibly, but the chip will also likely cost more than the Small Clone did.
Ok, thanks for your help.
P. do you have the polychorus owners manual(the old version),
and btw the new version, the green box, is so horrible.
No.
Not my problem. I don’t work for EHX.
Ok, thank you very much.
