Cathedral. Volume increase – Electro-Harmonix

I have recently get the cathedral. I notice there is an huge increase in the volume of the guitar when I turn it on. Is it normal? What can I do to correct it?

Are you sure it’s not because your settings…?
When you turn the feedback up (past 12 o’clock) you’ll get some volume increase but that’s because the reverb repeats just too many times (with fuzz box it’s almost like oscilation, long drone almost unbearable to listen to…)…So just check this…otherwise there shouldn’t be any volume increase…
