Hey, I just got a hold of a late 70s female-to-female LPB-1 and I’m having a bit of an issue.
The connection is solid and the pot is working. I get the added fatness to the sound when the boost is on but, although the pot is working (i can affect the volume and it isn’t scratchy at all), I’m not getting a boost from it. It’s actually a bit of a volume drop.
Does anybody have an idea as to what it might be, or what I can do?
I’m running a Fender Esquire into an early 70s Traynor YGM-3 and want to get this thing working so I can drive the crap out of my preamp.
Pics of the inside?
I’ll try and get some up soon. I didn’t see anything noticeably wrong (to my eyes), though
