Got my Freeze today and while it is a brilliant pedal, it seems to be very noisy. I’ve never heard of this being a noisy pedal, nor have I heard a similar noise coming from YouTube videos, so I’m guessing it’s because I’m running it through a Boss BR-600 (I’m currently without my amp until Thursday). I’m currently set up like:

    Fender Telecaster > Boss TU-2 > Freeze > Br-600

It gives off a buzz that pans in my headphones, rather annoying but hopefully will be noise free when I get my amp.

have you tried running into a DI first?

I haven’t no, I’m not actually trying to record it, I’m just impatient and wanted to play it before I get my amp back haha, I was just worried I had a faulty unit…

Bit off topic but where should I place the pedal in my current chain if I’m using:

    TU-2 > OD-3 > DD-3

    Cheers.

before delays and mod. you could put it between, but you’ll freeze just one point of the modulation sweep, and probably you’ll bug the freeze, which would be awesome if done right.

    sound advice.

I am a delay before mod person. last half of my chain is: Delay, Freeze, Trem, Phase, Reverb.
