Really Low output issue on Pi Black Russian – Electro-Harmonix

when switching clean to muff on the pedal volume output is really low with the pedal in bypass or on, and I just put in a new battery. I checked all the settings on the pedal and no luck. Why would it be still quieter with the pedal off? any Ideas?

sounds like a dirty jack, a bad switch, or a dirty pot.

It could also be the electrolytic cap.
