    Hi…I think EHX pedals are perfect, I’ve never come across a bad one and it makes me wish I had more money, so I could buy them all…You’re making great stuff but there’s still a huge problem with powering EHX pedals…

    What you absolutely have to start making is a power supply capable of powering more than just a one pedal – let’s say about 1000 mAh so it can power at least 5 or 6 pedals. Great would be to make a power supply just like 1 SPOT but compatible with all contemporary 9V EHX pedal and then a more expensive Power Plant-like and that could power also other EHX pedals – like 24V for DMM, or 18V for the Mistress – specially dedicated for EHX pedals.

    Because I’m having the big problems with powering my EHX pedals. I don’t want to buy a Power Plant, because I would need two of them (I’m taking home from rehersals just a half of my pedalboard) and everything else I can pretty much power with the 1 SPOT. I absolutely don’t want you to make every pedal compatible with Boss-style supplies, I guess it’s the EHX charm to make unique pedals, but you should really come up with your own plant. Because every time I’m considering buying a new pedal, I always kind of try to find other pedals, so I don’t have to have 5 single adaptors for EHX pedals. In the end I stick with the EHX of course, but it would have been nice to have only one adaptor instead of 5.

    Moreover, it can make pedals cheaper, because you won’t have to supply them with an apropriate adaptor, you could just let customers choose wheather to buy a normal power supply you’re already offering (provided he has only one EHX pedal) or a bigger one for more EHX pedals. And most importantly, having that kind of adaptor would encourage customers to buy more EHX pedals and isn’t that what every company is after ? …

    I myself would buy at least two of those – one for rehearsals, one for home usage…

    The Pedal Power 2+ is great, and the CIOKS DC-10 is looking even better. But they both have two big problems:

    No 12VAC for the EH tubes pedals
    No 40VDC for frequency analyzer and some of the other oddballs.

    I use a Pedal Power 2+ and it works great, and I drilled a hole in the side of it to give 120VAC to my 40VDC adapter, which I’ve remounted into a plastic box that sits next to the PP2+. It works, but it’d be nice if the next power supply I buy had a 40VDC tap, so I didn’t have to go to the trouble just to mount it under my board and not have a wall-wart sticking out anywhere and not having to have the vertical space for a wall-wart.

    Well the biggest problem for me obviously is the money – I expect that the EHX 1SPOT type of adaptor would be cheaper solution than the expesive Brick and other plants…And I really need two of those…

    And it really should fit any EHX pedal…(I mean the potential big one)

    Hello Mr Orange,

    I have a GigRig power supply which I purchased from Matt at The Mad Ape & it is fantastic. Other than the A/C outputs for the tube pedals, my GigRig is handling everything on my pedal board with no problem & there are lots of add-ons, so many that they can’t really be covered other than going to have a look at the thing. I highly recommend GigRig’s PS, it’s amazing.

    As far as EHX’s approach to their PS, I would guess we’d need an EHX guy with inside knowledge to join in this thread.

    Just waiting on the EHX guy to show up……… 🙄

    Come on, we don’t have all day……… :worried:

    { sigh }

    I’ll check back later…….. :facepalm:
