Hello, i need help with my V256 power supply, it says it needs 120V 60Hz input, where i live its 230V-240V 50 Hz (Africa), getting an inverter (inverts 50Hz to 60Hz) and a transformer is too much of a hassle, is there any other way, are there 230V 50Hz compatible power supplies for use with the V256, and if there is where can i get some?

    thanks.

a UK, European or Austrailian power supply is the right voltage (230v) you’d still need some kind of plug adapter I’d presume. (sorry I don’t know what type of plug/sockets you have there?)

You can buy it online or at your local EHX dealer. The correct part # is EU96DC-200BI. Actually, any GOOD 9vdc power supply capable of at least 200mA and having the correct polarity should work. A 1Spot would be fine.

Whats a 1Spot? ñ¬ found a universal ac dc adaptor with switchable polarity and volts (1-12) and up to 1000mA but it doesn’t have a selector for 9.6v only 9v, could that work?

    thanks

a 1Spot is an AC adapter for effects. It can power a lot of pedals.
9v is OK but usually those universal adapters are pretty crappy on the filtering. Try to find one made specifically for pedals.
