Hey, everybody, I was wondering if someone more knowledgable than myself could inform me about the potentiometers inside the reissue Small Clone.
Basically the effect stopped functioning a while ago, and I’ve just had the time recently to pull it apart, so BAM, case open, wiring all sweet, power supply seemingly in order, aha, a “snapped” potentiometer, (yknow, the PCB upon which the contacts rest?)
I’ve been looking for a spare and I’m afraid that I can’t quite figure out exactly what kind of pot I need, getting as far as figuring that it’s a 1meg pot. Any EHX elders with guidance for me?
Please help if you can!
Thanks,
Alex.
It’s a 1M reverse audio.
thanks man, I’ll have a search.
sorry to double post, but I can’t seem to dig one up anywhere.
Are these parts quite difficult to track down or am I just looking in all the wrong places?
Any leads/alternatives?
Thank you
Try radioshack in a pinch. Otherwise check out pedalpartsplus.com or small bear electronics. They’ll have it for sure.
Contact EHX and they might be able to supply you with a correct one.
…if they ever pick up or get back to you
Is this a sheet metal box reissue? If so, send me your address. I have a used one I took out of a rehoused Small Clone.
