Hi i have a problem with my Memory Boy.
The max delay time is shorter than 550ms. i think its about 250ms.
a friend has a memory toy and his pedal has a much higher max delay time.
i red that it has to warm up…
could this really be the reason?
i sent the pedal to germanys electro harmonix center, don’t know how its called, but they said its all fine…
can someone help me?
Make sure youre using a good power supply or a fresh battery. If its been sitting in the cold for a long time that will shorten delay as well.
Also EHX (for some crazy reason) didnt allow the pedal to get the full amount of delay time without a cable plugged into the EXP jack. Dont ask me. Just try it.
I had this same problem, and posted it up here. Actually that’s the reason I found this thread – I was looking for mine to say that I got it sorted out, and it was entirely my fault. I was using an adapter with too high an output, and it made the pedal useless for what I wanted. So, yeah, make sure you’re using the right adapter. If it isn’t working, then try a lower output.
