    i saw someone oh here post a pic of their green sovtek bassballs; other than that one, i haven’t seen anything on the internet about the green ones. does anyone know how many of these are out there?

    I doubt there’s very many of the green ones. As I said in the other thread, I ordered a unit when they came out but got a black one. I waited a couple of months and finally got a green one on ebay. JUdging by how rarely, if ever, I’ve seen them, I’d guess 100 or less..

    ive got one of the green ones. ive seen maybe two pop up on ebay in the last few years, so i cant imagine many are kicking around. and that surely fits in with EHX’s long standing ‘well make whatever until we run out of parts or paint’ mentality.

    so there are 5?

    i read somewhere, probably here, that they made 5 of something else in the green sovtek; i wanna say it was the electric mistress.

    found it, i guess it was a proto type.

    I know this is an old thread, but I bought a Green Russian Bassballs on a recent trip to Tokyo. It was in pretty good condition, in its wooden box. (Also grabbed that trip: a nice 97 Japanese Fender Mustang, and 2000s Japanese Strat and an 87 USA Strat.)

    Apart from the Electric Mistress, I have the “whole set” of Green Russians: Big Muff, Bassballs and Small Stone. I also have them in Black Russian too (and vintage USA, come to think of it – they say the first step is admitting you have a problem).

    I would consider selling the green Russian set to a real collector, I’m just a bass player who got obsessed with EHX pedals in wooden boxes and bought too many… ;-)
