Hi there, i have just obtain myself a vintage memory man (solid state echo/chorus) and currently encountering the volume drop problem.
It just that, i noticed a subtle volume drop (mainly around 30%) when i engaged the pedal in.
I do play with the blend knob but still didnt work out.
So, i’d like any of those EH “specialist” over here cud help me. Im open to any suggestions.
here is a picture of my effect (got it over the internet)

Is the drop in the dry signal or the delayed signal?
I found it to be on BOTH dry and wet signal…
having problem to balance them…
if i go too dry, i wont hear the repeats (or mainly only 10% volume), which does not fit the purpose of a delay pedal at all..
if i go too wet, then i dont hear the guitar “direct” signal at all, only the repeats can be heard…and still the repeats are not as loud as i expect (80% volume) but this is quite exceptional for repeats…
if i balanced it (i.e blend knob pointing to star sign as in the above picture), both direct out and repeats can be heard but I notice that the sound wont be that loud (80% or less) – yet this is my favorite setting, only i dont like that volume drop problem
any suggestion to modify this pedal? (i.e boost the output, install output level switch etc?)

Sounds like it needs to go to a tech. That kind of drop isn’t normal.
