I’ve heard people talk about their Memory Boys causing a noticeable volume gain when engaged but not a volume loss. For the volume gain, people seem to suggest cutting out the internal gain circuitry. Has my circuitry gone bad? Is there any hope of reviving it?
Has this always been the case with your Memory Boy, or it this something new that has started recently?

I actually just got this in a trade, so I couldn’t really answer that.
are you running it on the supplied power supply?
No, I’m running it on a power daisy chain, will try with it’s own power (although I don’t have the supplied plug).

According to the manual…

…..it’s needs 45mA at 9v … if you have a lot of pedals on your chain it may not be getting enough power, I don’t know if that would cause what you are experiencing but it would be worth checking.
