Hi!
Yesterday I tried to use my HOG as a regular volume pedal, with only the “original” slider up. No other octaves activated and no filter.
What I noticed is, that the HOG suddenly switches to the dry signal, when the pedal is in toe down position (100% volume). From 0 to 99% volume the signal is “wet” and sounds a bit synthetic, which is normal. But why does the unit switch to dry signal at 100% volume, although only the original slider is active? When I use the expression button in volume mode, it´s the same problem. The sound is absolutely dry when I push the exp. button for 100% volume, but it should be colored by the HOG, because I only use the original slider and NOT the dry slider. I don´t know, whether this behaviour is a normal feature of the HOG, or rather a malfunction. It just doesn´t make any sense to me.
I hope,you can help me.
Maybe someone can try this on his own HOG and then tell me, how his unit behaves.
Best regards,
Daniel
No malfunction. EHX told me, that this behaviour is noticeable on all HOGs.
