that’s the English Muff’n – comes with its own power supply?

have never seen real tubes before – my only ‘serious’ amp was a solid state Jennings and it spent more time in repairs than being played 😮

the Muff’n means i can keep my old Yam amp while pouring valve power into it :)

couldn’t find any practice tube amps that fit the bill – the Muff’n looks like the business

    bests,

Yep, all the ehx tube-pedals come with their own power supply, specifically for those pedals, as far as I can tell.

I have the LPB-2ube, and its been great. I use it to push a Sunn Slave power amp.

As far as tube practice amps go, we seem to be living in a golden age of small, low-wattage tube amps. I have the Vox AC4, and love it, but it seems like every time I turn around, there’s another 1 – 5 watt tube amp being advertised.

thanks – it’s great – tube amps were ‘old tech’ when i was getting into electric – everyone was going solid state – transistorised: it’s fantastic people are still actually manufacturing vacuum tubes. Most of the tube mini amps i have looked at (including some ‘heads’) do not have ‘outs’ for phones so quiet practice would be an issue + i like to plug amps into software (home recording) via interface & the ‘phones out’ socket, can’t wait to try this with a real tube device! :)
