I have an older RI big box DMM (x2 MN3005 chips/wooden box/hockey puck knobs) with true bypass and Analog.Man Mods. I noticed it generates or picks up some type of noise, which I think may be coming from the power supply. If I plug it into the effects out then send it into the amp with out any input you hear clicking sound, but if you put a guitar into the input that sound can be heard picked up from the guitars pickups ever so slightly. This happens even when it is in bypass mode (which I am almost certain is true bypass and not relay). I tried different guitars/amps/outlets and even a new power adapter. It sounds (no pun attended) like the internal power could be generating noise? Is there any way to fix this and do you have any other ideas?
