I like the Freeze but not the switch. I’d rather have something more akin to a non-latching typical sustain pedal style switch. Even better yet, a wireless switch attached to the surface of my guitar using inexpensive wireless doorbell technology. Anybody else thinking about this? I don’t want to damage the Freeze even though I know I’ll kill my warranty. I’m imagining the current switch makes a brief connection during it’s travel down, so it is momentary but not held at the lowest end of travel. Could anybody at EH verify this? Is it necessary for any switch wired as replacement be a brief contact as well, or could a standard non-latching sustain pedal work? Thanks……..
It’s probably a momentary, but you could get a multimeter and test it
