Hi!
Bought a bass enigma q-balls pedal today, in the store it sounded fantastic! i got it home, tried on my trace elliot gp7 150w amp, and it just sounded incredibly weak! tried tweaking it every way i can think of, but i just cant get the sound from it that i got in the store! the guitar im using is a musicman stingray.
Someone told me it could be cheap leads, is this right?
Thanks in advance,
Tom
That is rubbish, they are trying to fob you off.
Did you use your guitar at the store when you tried it out?
hi, i used a stingray in the store, but ive used my guitar on other pedals and its fine….
It may have more to do with your amp, then. I’d take the pedal back to the store (take along your guitar and amp) and try it out again with your guitar and their amp. If it sounds fine, try it again with your amp there at the store.
Hi,
Thanks for the info so far!
Just to let you know, i just tried switching my leads around and it worked a treat (may have a dodgy lead) also, i dont think i expected the pedal to be as sensitive as it was, along with my premp, i should have loads of fun experimenting with all the diferent sounds i can get!
Cheers anyway Guys,
Glad to hear you figured it out!
