Here’s an interesting thing. I have a NYC Big Muff modified to Rams Head component values (.1 caps throughout except for 1uf input and exit). Now on my les paul it works like a BMP with a bit less fuzz than say a Triangle or Russian, but with my Igor guitar using a 1950s reissue Telecaster bridge pickup and a 1978 Gibson P90 neck pickup it acts like a linear boost pedal. Very curious; I am not complaining, just observing. is this a normal thing? It sounds wonderful in sequence (after) with the Triangle clone.
