Hi folks,
I was lucky and got my hands on and Russian BassBalls (black version) lately … and I love it. I’m running it on battery at the moment and that’s fine except the fact I always have to buy new ones…
So I want to power it (like my other pedals) via 9V DC (1A) Power supply with daisy chain. Is that possible? I mean, I know I need an apapter for the BassBalls has an 3,5″ power jack.
But what’s puzzling me is that on the device itself it’s printed “AC” and my local music store adviced me to either use the EHX 9 DC-100 EU power supply (which is DC obviously) or get an adapter (3,5″ or battery clip) for my daisy chain.
Can anyone give me secure advice on this?
Thanks in advandce and regards,
Golo
It’s definitely 9v DC. Either of the adapters they suggested will work fine.
Awesome!
Thanks a lot for the quick reply!

i have the Russian bassballs as well and i also use daisy chains where i can, and for sum reason i couldn’t get mine to work with my 1Spot chain system. i used the 3.5 phono plug adapter, and i also tried the reverse polarity adapter before that and still nothing (yes the wires inside are connected correctly)
the only way i got it to work on my daisy chain was to use the battery snap adapter, and have it hang out the bottom of the battery door. (just keep the door in a safe place, so you dont lose it! and tape the wires down to the box somewhere or you could pull the wires out!)
