    Hi guys.

Is the POG2 Digital or Analog?

I’m guessing it’s digital, but would like to know…

    Cheers.

The only analog polyphonic pitch shift unit was called the ADA Harmony Synthesizer, and it was made for a very short time. Not only was it stupidly expensive, but it sounded awful.

Danelectro Shift Daddys are designed around the MN3205, I believe…. I mean, they still sound awful.

There are a few excellent analog octave / pitch shifting pedals out there. It’s certainly harder to engineer good ones but the payoff is big, since you can avoid all the ad > da conversion artifacts that rear their ugly heads once you start recording.

I’m surprised nobody here mentioned the Microsynth…
