What’s the current draw for a Russian Stone Phaser?? Been running mine off an adapter at 9V for a while with no problems but now seems to be making a high pitched whining noise. Fine with a battery.
Cheers
Current draw should be pretty low, less than 30mA. The adapter may be causing the problem, not the pedal. Have you tried a different adapter?
Yeah, think you could be right. Will try another PS when I get home. Bit of a pain these Russian pedals don’t have the standard 9V power input. It sounds bloddy lovely though, might have to Mod it so I can use it with my Fuel Tank.
It’s a relatively simple matter to make a power cable or to change the end of an existing cable to fit.
Sounds stupid but I had not even thought of that!!! I think that’s gonna be the best thing to try next. Thanks.
