Hi folks,
I posted this on TGP, but have had no response yet.
Last year, I purchased this Ram’s Head Big Muff locally through Craigslist. As much as I love this pedal, I’m starting to look at the option of selling it. So, I’ve been trying to learn more about what I have and what it’s value might be.
Here’s what I know…
– pots are dated 1977
– I had the electrolytic caps professionally replaced as at least one had gone bad and the pedal had no sustain. It sounds great now.
– it has the 3003 circuit board
– D-shaped pot shafts (not sure why this is important but I saw someone asking this on an ebay auction for a similar pedal)
– on the pic of the entire circuit board, there is a new orange wire to replace the original that broke when the board was removed
Here are some pics of it…

If anyone can steer me towards the value or a good way to describe it, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Your pix all seem to have been deleted, but here is info on the Ram’s Head versions.

The pictures work for me now, but didn’t work first time I saw this topic..
Yeah, I think it was because the original album name had a space in it? I’m still a Photobucket newbie.
