    Hey,

I will “try” to keep this short, after researching reverb effects , I keep coming back to the E-H

Cathedral Reverb ,listening to audio files, watching videos on E-H, and also a great on one

MusicRadar.com (Guitar is a Airline (looks like a ? Kay) with single coils ) and the person doing

the demo took their time and went through each setting. I went to order one from a shop where a

friend works (used to be local) but now quite far away) and he said that he had recently bought

a T-rex Roommate Reverb pedal and that I should definately check it out, I did on the T-Rex site

audio files and videos and honestly though it was not that great or even good for > $350.00+

I did see recent info that Black Star amplification is releasing a Reverb pedal, a Modulation

pedal and one other one (it was on http://www.premierguitar.com daily news, the manufaturer site was

not updated yet and I may check that one out (I have gone through a long list of companies that

make reverb pedals analog and digital, to me I think the Cathedral Reverb sounds incredible

and for the price while not cheap has multip;e ? seven types of reverb, pre-delay and the infinite

sustain (? for owners of the Cathedral Reverb, do you have to remain with the switch presed down

for infinite sustain or can you switch it on and it stays on infinite sustain (I read a review

where the person described the infinite sustain and he /she activated it and it was still on

while the where in another room and would remain on until disengaded true or not true ??

    Thanks

I have reverb in a Vox Tonelab as well as a Podxt and a RogerLinn Adrennaliin 111

I use a Atomic Reactor which docks modeling units and it has a effects loop and of late I have been

buying (when $ available) individual effects (though E-H effects are never individual! (for the

most part) I am not hung up on nalog versus digital (unless it sounds bad and that can be either

    forrmat)

    Later

    :poke:  😆 :rawk: :)

Hey ambient tales, Ive had the cathedral since it came out and I have to say Im impressed. It has Lots of nice sounding reverbs plus a two second echo which is great, i highly recommemd this pedal!
About the infinite sustain you could hold the switch down or you can set the reverb time fully clockwise so you dont have to hold it down. Go to musiciansfriend.com they have a great return policy, no questions asked and they will even pay for the shipping back to them. So if you dont like it just send it back. Hope that helps.

    freekzilla,

Thanks for replying and glad that the Cathedral Reverb is working out well for You

and thanks for answering my ? re: the infinate sustain ?

Hopefully I will be able to buy one in the near future

of all the reverbs I have checked out it sounds fabulous

I did look up the three pedals relesed by Black Star Amplification

and they are Delay, Reverb and Modulation (the HT-5 Series which has effects units

in that series already at around $189.00 but not sure if they have the multi options

like these the Reverb has 8 (but infinite sustain I did not see) and the Delay had 7 or 8

and modulation is well modulation options ) But I have looked for > 5-6 months now

or when ever I heard The E-H Cathedral something really took me in , its quite astounding

the sound and options, I have a E-H SMMH and a 2880 Looper and Footcontrol

and no complaints , a Boss Slicer SL-20 and some Danelectro metal cased effects from a while back

and a Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter (won that on his web site + other stuff)

I have been lucky at contests (even a Schecter Tempest Custom with a custom paint finish) which is

unusual in the Diiamond Series + a list of other stuff (guitar strings, straps, a trumpet, a full

computer system HP Tower, LCD Monitor and HP 4 in printer (taxes yes) but have the spam mail to pay

for it! so am going to change email and no more contests or lists for web sites I get 400+ emails a

    day its nuts!

    Peace
