Hey guys, new to the forum and I need some help.
This is actually in reference to a catalinbread pedal but im sure whatever advice yall give me back could be used for any kind of pedal.
I JUST got a boost pedal for christmas and right when I powered it up I started to smell a burning smell so I unplugged everything and noticed small puffs of smoke coming out of the pedal
I spoke to a technician at catalinbread and they said i probabaly hooked it up with AC power instead of DC power but i used the same VCD 9 volt at 100 mA power on my pedal board I use for ALL my different pedals.
Now the pedal doesnt work when I try it again, it doesnt smoke up or anything though.
Can anybody help me out, maybe know how I can fix this problem or is the pedal just completely runied?
I really appreciate your help
Um, I really think this is something you need to discuss further with Catalinbread or the dealer you bought it from… the pedal sounds totally fried so I don’t think any advice I can give you will help fix it.
Moved to the lounge also, non EHX product threads are considered off topic.
