Random Question i know, but what is the best cables to get for your guitar ?
ive been looking at some george l’s and some vox cables
this is for guitar – pedalboard
pedalboard – amp
im ok for patch cables. etc.
Thanks
I use Planet Waves, I don’t have any problems with them. IMO there isn’t much difference between ‘general good quality cables’ and very expensive cables.
These are the ones I have, ‘Planet Waves Custom Series’ they are very robust and I haven’t had any noise problems or anything like that. Very fair price too.

I have some monster cables and bullet cables that I like a lot. I don’t notice much of a difference sound wise either. I like how heavey duty they are. I do have a Ernie Ball cheapy cable that I’ve had for 12 years. Works like the day I bought it.
I have a Vox Class A cable, i guess that’s what you wanted too. It is good, nice sound, no problems with it so far.
i have a Sommer XXL, my friend soldered it for me with neutrik jacks. seems like a indestructible cable and it’s not pricey. I ordered it from thomann.de
i’m mad about patch cables… they are either very cheap and not very good or insanely expensive… talking Bespeco (i use them ) vs. um… for example Spectraflex
between my pedalboard and an amp, i use just inexpensive Cordial they seem cool enough since i’m not a gigging musician
i use a planet waves cable from my guitar to effects.
Yeah, I use Planet Waves from guitar too. I have Gold a Neutrik to the amp I have had for ages.
I use mainly Rotosound patch cables/connectors although I have some Planet Waves patch cables too (however I find that these seem to ease out of my pedals over time causing a break in the chain! I have to check everything is pushed in tight before I start to play).
