    Hi there, folks

    i have a question – before i bought my Sovtek Big muff, i read few posts here that were talking about alot of noise from the Muff. someone said that it differs piece to piece – is that true?

    and why’s that?

    mine is dead quiet – even with the sustain cranked and the tone almost at 3/4 it’s very quiet

    It varies depending on the transistors and other parts.

    I put a trimpot as a noise gate in my 3034 it was so noisy, but I’ve got others that are nice and quiet.
