Having seen the amazing effectology series I’ve decided I need some new effects and I am definetely buying the Hog and Memory Man Hazarai. I would appreciate any advice on what other effects could help me achieve the widest sonic range without doubling up too much on similar sounding effects. My budget is about $1000 altough it could be a bit more if really worth it. I have some old Boss effects (flanger, digital delay, compression, phaser) but I need new sounds and I am happy to replace some or all of them. i play a strat through a mesa boogie MK3SC and love the sounds of the 60’s and Pink Floyds guitars and much more but I also want to be able to use a straight guitar like a synth. I need a reverb unit too, is the Cathedral the most versatile of the range?
