So I just joined the Micro Synth club recently. I’ve never used one before and I was just wondering how people apply this to their guitar and/or sound. Do most fiddle with the preamp gain? I’ve noticed mine seems to have a volume drop when engaged. Do most run their fuzz/overdrive after or before? Compressor important? Bit of a learning curve with this such as the Hoax?
i put mine in between my wah, and dirt pedals. i love the microsynth and i can get really cool sounds out of it. the only problem is that mine isnt true bypass, and it takes away a lot of tone. also, not a lot of music has a microsynth in it, so i don’t use it as much as i would like. but overall, its a pretty fun pedal to use.
That sounds nuts in a very good way. This pedal’s been on my list for quite some time. And since I just picked up a JC-120 I’ve heard so many new things from my pedals. The Memory Boy sounds unreal through a JC. However, I’m really looking forward to playing with the Micro Synth, JC-120 or not.
