hi, i just got a classic dmm, and im wondering if its ok for the unit, if the overload light is constantly blinking. i mean, i know it has to do with what ever u have the imput volume set as, but i like it pretty loud, and that light keeps flickering, just wondering if its ok for the unit, cus, i dont at all mind the distortion on the repeats, it sounds cool

shouldn’t hurt to have it on. It just indicates that the signal is clipping. If you like it, go with it!

Go by what you hear, not what the LED does. No harm in overdriving the pedal if you don’t mind the distortion.
I do a Hot Pickup mod that increases the headroom to reduce distortion when the level is high, as with hot pickups.
