OK, I’m trying to collect whatever EHX gear i can get my hands on, but trying to get things i need before i got extra fun stuff.
now i need to know if the Poly Chorus, and the Poly Flange is the same thing just renamed?
if it is i don’t need to get the Flange right away , seeing i have the Stereo Poly Chorus all ready.
from the pics I’ve seen they both have the same controls exactly, just that two of the knobs are in a diff location.
can anyone confirm this?
I started a thread about this at HCFX: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=1908028
There are several differences from the PolyFlange and the RI Stereo Polychorus. For starters, the PolyFlange uses the old SAD 1024 Reticon chips instead of the Panasonics. That’s pretty substantial.
I think there’s enough difference between the reissue Polychorus and the vintage Polychorus to warrant having both.
The vintage Polychorus is the same circuit and sound like the Poly Flange?
