Seems like the effect hardly works at all when I plug it into my bass with active pickups. Any suggestions?

I use it with my Fender Jaguar Bass which has both passive and active pickups. Np apparant problem with either. With the active selecter on it just seems more punchier. I would call EHX and speak to a tech about it!
