well I pulled the trigger and just ordered a metal muff with top boost and a graphic fuzz. I have read a lot about the two and am really excited to try them out. I didn’t want to buy a pile of petals . I wanted very versatile ones though. and Im hoping I will be able to get many years from these petals
I was torn between the graphic fuzz and the knockout but I decided i would probably get a lot more use out of the graphic fuzz because I have no eq other than my amp settings .I play through a Mesa SOB so it has really nice amp distortion on its own but im sure I will be able to get some nice distortion with the graphic fuzz . and when I want to go to the dark side…the metal muff and the graphic fuzz should be able to dial in exactly what I am looking for.
im still curious what I could do with a knockout in that chain.
here are my guitars
