I finally got around to opening up my 4 knob deluxe to take pictures of the inside and check the date on the pots. Thankfully it does have all the Reticon “SAD1024’s?” chips in it. However, I thought it was supposed to have 4….I believe mine has 5! There’s 4 of them lined up in a row with the 5 th being right under one of the pots in row with the others….
Also, It had another big chip about the same size as Reticon more towards the middle of the board. Anyone know what chip that is cause I couldn’t get into it enough to identify it.
And more chips…I believe there were 4 of these 4558mn? chips in there as well. I could only really read the top of 2 of them but I think they said 4558mn so please correct me if I’m wrong and how many of these are supposed to be in there.
Last question, I took the knobs and everything off to get under there but I still couldn’t get a picture of the pots since the bottom of them are so close to the board and I didn’t want to bend it back. From what I could identify as a date they said 77. Does this sound correct? Do I need to actually get a shot of the pot numbers?
The ehx product number…looked like eh1307…is this correct?
The reason I ask all these questions is eventually I will be selling it, even though I like it more than my new model deluxe, and I need to know what all I need to put on the listing.
I took a picture of the top, back with the jacks and switches, bottom, and inside the cavity as good as I could where you could identify all the Reticons, the product number on the board which is hard to read as well as the back of the circuit board.
Anyone know where I can see some pics of the inside and back of one of these? Any help would be highly appreciated because I don’t want to misrepresent the item.

August 6, 2009 at 7:40 pm #100361dmc777MemberThat’s strange cause it’s directly in the same line as the Reticons. Should I bend these pots back and take a picture of them to but on ebay when I sale? I’m afraid I’ll break them. Also, anyone know anything else about the other chips?

August 7, 2009 at 11:32 am #100376The EH ManModeratorThe chip under the pots is a 4047 to drive the SADs, of which there are are 4 of them. The other large IC is a 570 compander IC. The 4 small ones are run of the mill 4558s.
If you see ’77 on a pot, go with that. EH-1307 is the model #.
I don’t think anybody needs a pic of the pots.August 7, 2009 at 2:41 pm #100383dmc777MemberQuote:The chip under the pots is a 4047 to drive the SADs, of which there are are 4 of them.
