    I know the HOG has more features, but I feel like because it doesn’t have this “advanced algorithm” that it is obsolete.

    fwiw, the better sound is partly due to a 4x faster DSP that now processes the audio in 32-bit (rather than 24-bit) which means higher-precision sound…

    And I was set on a Big Box POG….Now I might have to scrap that idea. That looks absolutely wonderful. I could make all kinds of fabulous sounds with that indeed!

    How many times in the stompbox world have we looked back in hindsight and said, “I liked such and such better before they advanced the technology”?

    That’s not to say that the new POG2 won’t sound amazing; but I’m sure those of us who have grown with the HOG or the original POG will continue to love the unique character and tone of those pedals, no matter how many times the circuit is updated.

    geez!!! i just got a quick peak at that harmony central board — memory boy at $100! has chorus and vib?! hope to hear more about that one soon!
