Asked this over at TalkBass with no answer, so I figured I’d join here I was curious if anyone knew how the HOG’s foot controller sent messages to the HOG- didn’t see anything written in the manual specifically about it. It’s not MIDI, so I assumed it would be some sort of control option. I ask because I have an advanced switching system (Musicomlab EFX) that may be able to do the same work as the HOG’s foot controller does if I can figure out how the presets are saved/relayed. Thanks!
It uses a micro-controller, much the same way as the controller for the 16 Sec Delay reissue does.
Does the microcontroller send control changes/control functions or something?
I don’t know exactly. You’d need to ask the designer but I don’t think he hangs around the forums.
