just wondering if you can you use the original big muff power supply on the big muff pi w/tone wicker…?
from the manual:
The BMPTW requires a clean 9VDC power supply at 50mA. We recommend the Electro-Harmonix US96DC-200BI power supply.
the original big muff pi power supply offers 9v @ 100ma… and the adapter ehx recommends is 9.6v @ 200 ma (US96DC-200BI) … is it just me or does the adapter for the original big muff pi seem closer to the spec ehx describes the BMPTW needs…?
just wondering if i need to get another power supply or not for the BMPTW…
thanks for the help on this!
yes you may
Yes but you’l need a converter to convert the plug, on the NYC muff it uses a 1/8 male jack. on the wicker it uses a 2.1mm barrel connector like boss.
