powering Steel Leather bass expander pedal – Electro-Harmonix

Hi all,
I really wanna add this pedal to my rig, which is a Bass Big Muff, Small Stone, Small Clone (all powered from a 9v brick supply unit-capable of powering 5 units) and a seperately powered QTron+
My question relates to the info on the page here at EHX.com. It states that I shouldnÂ´t use the same power supply as the rest of the rig. am I reading this wrong?if this is the case, why is that? and what should I do?
Any info would be great.

It must be a positive ground effect?

I hadn’t really paid much attention to it but the video demo does sound really good.
