I already purchased this ab/y switch from EH with the idea of using it as an Effects Chain selector,
it appears in instruction booklet with the following configuration:

Y: Instrument—> Effects chain A, effects chain B

but I can’t figure out how to do that, I want to ask what should be done to complete/close
effects chain circuit in order to make both selectable using one instrument and one amp.

A) may be Heavy Riff effect pedal configuration
may be Soloing/EQ effect pedal configuration

I hope someone may halp me put this thing to work, cheers.!
