hello. wanted to post this with my previous question, but had to open a new post. just got a 16 second delay and wanted to find out about the 4-beat count in “modification”. does EHX still do this? as i understand it they remove the count-in so it functions like a press-record kind of looper? true? :) any info would be appreciated!

    I believe they still do.

Contact info@ehx.com to get the details. They’ll give you a price and a service number and stuff.

I have a question related to the various fuzz/distortion pedals that EHX makes. I am a guitarist that plays old school style early ’80s hardcore/punk (Bad Brains, Black Flag…) which pedal would give that raw tone that I desire? I want a pedal that can provide plenty of sustain, low end, good midrange, and a hint of crunch. From what I read the Big Muff Pi Tone/Wicker seems to be the best choice. Would this pedal provide what I’m looking for?

I think the double muff would be best for that kind of stuff….it has a gritty raw sound perfect for trashy punk.

Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker also gets very nasty for that sort of stuff.
