Actually, this isn’t about any complaints, it just seems like an all-around win:
1) if you’ve been waiting for the new DMM, now you can get it
2) you can continue to get the classic design
3) folks in Europe can also now get the classic
So it just seemed better for everybody.
April 20, 2009 at 6:27 pm #95864tubezipperModeratoris there any way to get the Memory Man font?
It looks so awesome!
April 20, 2009 at 6:34 pm #95865cabomanoParticipantErrr… I’m still trying to figure out the difference in not being able to get the old version because it’s been discontinued and not being able to get the old one because it’s unavailable… :poke: I mean, how long is it going to remain unavailable?

April 20, 2009 at 7:08 pm #95867julianModeratorSo if I understand it right the XO DMM wasn’t going to be released until the big box DMMs run out. Now it’s coming out before the supply runs out. And the bix box DMM may be brought back, but it’s still unlikely.

April 22, 2009 at 2:44 pm #95953tdrewsMemberIs the below correct on the limited packaging? How do i work with a dealer to get one of these? Is the cost the same? Is there a special SKU#?
Thanks!

Hey tdrews — are you talking about what electro-melx wrote? (ie, he was just goofing) Or are you asking after the DMM?
April 22, 2009 at 3:33 pm #95956tdrewsMemberOk- Now i see the year 2020 in the post. Now i get the joke. duh.
So when working with an online dealer (guitarcenter.com, etc), how can i ensure i get the classic chassis when ordering? I called one place and they could not tell me for sure, since product is in s distribution center. My Local dealers do not have in the showroom.
Have dealers received the new verion? or is it safe to say i will get the classic when ordering?
Thanks
April 22, 2009 at 4:24 pm #95961Quote:is it safe to say i will get the classic when ordering?Since it’s such a recent change, I think the best best is to first contact your preferred dealer(s) and explain which you want — in the US, right now, most dealers probably have the classic. And now they can also get the new DMM.
