Researching some boost pedals and have it down to the LPB-1 and a couple others. I am looking in to the LPB-1 cause it is supposed to be good and goes for a good price. I have it down to this and maybe a MXR Micro Amp and a Fulltone Fat-boost…
I play rock/alternative rock with a modded tele an Vox AC15CC1. I just need to push the signal a little…any thoughts!?!?!
Thanks.
I own this pedal and it will give you all the boost you need. For any price, you will not find, I don’t want to say transparent, but warm pedal. If you crank up the pedal all the way, you get just a nice bit of breakup, but anything below 3/4 and it’s pure volume boost. I use this to boost my normal distortion for solos, i love it. I also own a vox distortion booster, I would choose this immediately instead of the vox.
I have an AC15CC1. I like the LPB1, but not with that amp. My Marshall and Fenders sound great with it.
When I’m boosting my AC15, I like to use my Fat Boost 2(3x the price). I like using a TS varient as a boost also.
i have this pedal and love the boost it gives. it works really well with the big muff pi. i use it to boost the volume with my flanger hoax or for a boost for solos. i was considering the mxr micro amp also, but got this because it is cheaper and i’m really glad with my dicision
Thanks everyone…still looking at the options. I appreciate the info!
