Hi. Reading white and red text on a black background is really difficult. I’d suggest changing the forum background colour from black to dark grey.
Cheers.
I think there was already a thread like this…
I agree with you, but if they changed the forum colors, they’d have to change the whole website colors. I think that they should make an option for there to be different colors. this way some people could choose what color they want. it’s kind of hard to explain my idea. but like on AOL.com there are boxes on the top of the page that are different colors and say “choose your screen” . when you click for example blue, the background turns blue, or if you click orange, the background turns orange. so there could be options on this website for different shades of greys and a black and a white, because those seem to be the colors most used on this website. that way everyone wins!!
i know on vBulletin forums you can use different skins
it does get painful reading the bright white against the black :p

if people start using the other font colors, do you think that would help?
I think you are all mad……but then when I was at school we had blackboards with white chalk, so maybe it’s just something I’ve always been used to?
….either that or i’d suggest an opticians.

i don’t have that much of a problem reading the forums, only sometimes. but i can see what people mean, i can’t read red writing on white backgrounds.
White on black does get painful after a while and red on black is really hard for me. When the reading starts hurting my eyes I realise its time to turn the laptop off and play some music.
Which is what we want you to do! Mission accomplished!
