Does anyone know a good dvd ripper that is legit and won’t cause a virus and isn’t illegal?
I used this aplus dvd ripper that my friend gave me for a while and then it stopped working for some reason. I’ve heard handbrake is good, but i also saw on yahoo answers that people have had problems with it.
DVD Decrypter is good.
Is it free to download and do you have any problems with it?
Do you need to rip a protected DVD — depending on who you talk to, there is no such thing as a “legit” ripper that can rip protected DVDs.
If it’s an unprotected DVD, I’ve been working with http://handbrake.fr/ and I like it.
I have a DVD recorder with a built in hard-drive, so I can just copy to that, then copy back onto a disc. (unprotected dvd’s of course)

I downloaded handbrake, but i guess that regular dvds that you buy are not decrypted, so it doesnt work.
