Hello, all.
How much current does the SMMH draw?
Also, Is there a list somewhere that lists the current draw of EHX pedals? None of my manuals includes this information.
I’m not sure, but I know that mine’s noisy if I power it with a OneSpot. A BOSS 9V adapter should eliminate any noise problems (if that’s an issue you’ve been experiencing). The adapter I use is 300mV, and it works fine.
don’t daisy chain it
on a voodoo labs pedal power 2+ it needs to be on one of the two 9v high current outputs
It draws 200mA
Edit:
Corrected below by Bubba Ghanoosh that the Power Draw is 180mA
Doesnt it come with its own power adapter?
…I thought it did…
yes it does
Thanks for all the quick replies!
Carlos, yes, it comes with its own p/s, but I’m running out of outlets on my pedalboard (one is already being used by my Bass Micro Synth) . The board (SKB PS45) does have 9V jacks, but they’re only rated at 100mA each.
Dsl1, does it actually draw 200mA, or are you basing that number on the rating of the p/s that came with it?
Julian, I figured it draws high current. I’m also using a Dunlop DC brick, but it’s already powering one high current pedal (160 mA) and I don’t want to overload it.
Edit: For those interested, I just got a reply from EHX. It draws 180 mA.
What about the new Micro Synth and the Micro Pog?
Does anyone their current draw?
thanks!
I have the XO Bass Micro Synth. According to EHX, it draws 180 mA.
And, according to http://www.diago.co.uk/powerstation_compatibility.html, the Micro Pog draws 200 mA.
