I’m currently in the process of building a Big Muff info website, it will have all the version info, schematics, pics of all versions etc and I’m, at the moment, compiling info about the NYC RI versions.
Can any of you tell me what year the first RI NYC was in stores? I only need RI NYC info as I have all the sovtek/vintage muff info already.
I’m trying to gather info about all the various RI NYC’s because there has been a few and the earliest model I have info about is the 3003-A version, there’s since been a 3003-B and 3003-C(the latest version out now) but I cant find any info before the 3003-A. I bought a 3003-A version 3 years ago but I cant find any info before that.
So if you bought a RI NYC in the 90’s can you take the bottom off of it and read the PCB for me, tell me what it says? The info will either be on the component side bottom left or right corner or on the solder side. You don’t need to de-solder anything to do this.
Thanks.
Awesome!
I don’t know about anything prior to that.
I hope scott can tell us what year the NYC RI were actually re issued. Its either late 90’s or early 2000’s.
Let me know when you have a URL for it, I’ll add a link from my Big Muff page
OK!
Awesome, i can’t wait till its finished!
The earliest I remember seeing the USA re-issues was 2000, though they may have actually come out in 1999. I list 2000 on my Big Muff page.
Ok thanks!
Does yours have EC in front of 3003, and is the -A upside down?
