    I’ve always found the little printed slogans on the inside of my EHX purchases enjoyable, so what are some of your favs?

    I happen to like “your salvation” from inside the Nano Soul Preacher box.

    I only own 4 pedals with those slogans, here they are:

    Big Muff Pi: Your Piece of the Pi
    Small Clone: Your Nirvana
    Metal Muff: Your alloyed muff
    Stereo Electric Mistress: Your Stereo Seductress awaits

    I don’t really have a favortie though. They should have put one on the POG’s box.

    I’ve always liked the Small Clone one best, I’ve always thought it was super clever but at the same time it’s basically one step away from saying “Your Cobain.” If there was a slogan on the Polychorus, I can only imagine it would read “Your Radio Friendly Unit Shifter” or “Your Crimson King.” Actually those sound pretty neat, if you ever do up an XO Polychorus they may be worth tossing around the office.

    I’ve always wondered the psychology behind saying ‘your’ on every slogan, though – is this a deliberate marketing attempt, made to stimulate a person’s sense of ownership and belonging? Or is it just something you started doing when you moved away from pine boxes so that your pedal packaging could retain some of that charm? I’ve always been curious, it makes it harder to part with pedals because I think “Wait a second… I’m about to trade in a little piece of my Pi!” or something similar. “I can’t ditch this box, it’s got my prescription in it!”

    EDIT: Hold up. The Doctor Q is my favorite: “Your prescription enclosed.”

    Holy Stain – ‘Your Mark of Distinction’

    I love these touches. They needn’t be there at all, but add a little bit of personality to the boxes. Adds to the family style/chic/not taking themselves too seriously aesthetic of the company.

    It’s nice to know there is no slogan for the POG, I purchased it without the box. I can now stop losing sleep over this :-)
