I just picked up a pedalboard with the typical 9V 100mA power supply block and would like to use it to power my Micro POG. I know the MP is supposed to be 9.6V, but for Class 1 DC power supplies, the 600mV difference is within manufacturing variability. The big problem is the 100mA per outlet limit. I’ve only got 6 pedals (including the MP) so my plan is to wire two of the 100mA 9V DC supplies in parallel to give me a 9V supply tap with a total of 200mA available current.
Any thoughts?
What power supply?
The 5 and 6 outlets on the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ has 250 ma and can thus power the EHX digital 9v pedals very well.
The power section of a SKB PS-45 pedalboard. It’s got 8 9V 100mA supplies. I’ve got some spares so I’d like to use two of them in parallel to get the 200mA required by the MP
